The present petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.65, dated 28.3.2012, under Sections 279, 336, 353, 187, 307 IPC, Section 3/8 of the Punjab Cow Slaughter Act, 1955, and under Section 17 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, registered at Police Station Bawal, District Rewari.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and have gone through the whole record carefully, including the impugned order passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Rewari, vide which application filed on behalf of the present petitioners for bail was dismissed.
This is second application for bail filed by petitioners-accused. Their earlier bail application was got dismissed as withdrawn, vide order dated 29.5.2012 passed in Crl.M.No.M-16115 of 2012.

Brief allegations against petitioners-accused are that there was secret information with the police that a vehicle bearing registration No. HR-55-P-6586, loaded with cows, was going from Jaipur to Uttar Pardesh via Delhi for the purpose of slaughtering. Hence, a naka was laid at Jai Singh Pur Khera Naka point and after some time, the vehicle reached there. ASI Santosh Kumar signalled the vehicle to stop and, however, petitioner no.1-accused Imran @ Tuffail, who was driving the same, tried to over run the police party with the intention to kill them. Vehicle was chased by the police party and the same was over-powered at some distance. Petitioner no.1-Imran @ Tuffail was driving the truck, whereas petitioner no.2-Faiam was sitting in the truck and on checking 35 cows/calves were found in the said truck. Hence, it is a case of attack on a police party, while they signalled the truck to stop for the purpose of checking as they were indulging in transporting the cows for the purpose of slaughtering.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners requests for withdrawal of this petition.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
