This is a petition under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to take over the investigation of case FIR No.59 dated 18.08.2010 under Section 376 IPC registered at Police Station Chabbewal, District Hoshiarpur and hand over the same to some independent agency like Crime Branch, Chandigarh or Central Bureau of Investigation.
Contends that the FIR was registered way back on 18.08.2010. But till date, neither has the respondent-accused arrested nor any investigation has taken place.
Heard.
However, without going into the detail and merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to complete the investigation as soon as possible and submit his final report within three months from today.
