Paramjit Singh and Ors. Vs State of Punjab

The petitioners have approached this Court under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.213 dated 11.11.2010, registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar.

The learned counsel for the petitioners refers to Annexure P-3 and states that the entire payment has been made by the petitioners.

On instructions from ASI Surjit Singh, the learned State counsel states that the petitioners have joined the investigation and are not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the interim bail granted by this Court vide order dated 06.06.2012, is made absolute, subject to the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
