Smt. Sukhwinder Kaur, the petitioner seeks prearrest bail in a case registered by way of FIR No. 223 dated 27.12.2007 at Police Station Haibowal, Ludhiana, for an offence punishable under sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance with the terms of the order dated 31.5.2012, the petitioner has already appeared before the court below and has been admitted to bail. He further submits that the name of the petitioner had been shown in column no.2 of the challan with red ink. According to him, she was declared a proclaimed offender in this case. He further submits that the petitioner was never informed of the case against her and the proceedings for declaring her a proclaimed offender were conducted at her back. He further submits that co-accused of the petitioner were on bail in this case during trial.
