This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No. 29 dated 30.3.2011 (Annexure P-1), under Sections 452/ 384/ 511/ 148/ 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station SGN Dev Thermal Plant Bhatinda.
Learned counsel for respondent No.2 has submitted that almost entire prosecution evidence has been concluded. Now only cross-examination of the investigating officer remains to be conducted. In these circumstances, no ground for interference by this Court, at this stage, is called for.
Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
