This is a petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.14 dated 29.3.2012 under Sections 323/427/148/149 IPC, under Section 3 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 and under Section 3 of Prevention of Damages to Public Property Act, registered at Police Station Kotbhai, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
This court, while issuing notice of motion on 16.5.2012 directed that in the event of arrest, petitioner would be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/investigating officer in connection with abovesaid case FIR.
On instructions from Assistant Sub Inspector Sukhdev Singh, learned State counsel informs that petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for interrogation.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, the order dated 16.5.2012 passed by this Court is made absolute.
Petition disposed of accordingly.
