Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, invoking its inherent jurisdiction, seeking direction to the official respondents to take appropriate action against the private respondents, in accordance with law.
Notice of motion was issued and pursuant thereto, status report by way of affidavit of Balkar Singh Sidhu, Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, filed in the Court is taken on record.
Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from HC Jagjit Singh, Police Station Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur, submits that FIR

No.93 dated 3.7.2012 has been registered under Sections 406 and 498-A IPC at Police Station Mukerian against respondent Nos. 3 to 6, which has rendered the present petition as infructuous.
Nobody is present on behalf of the petitioner to press this

In view of the reply filed and statement made by the leaned counsel for the State, the instant petition is ordered to be disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.
