This is a petition filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of concession of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.232 dated 06.07.2011 under Section 20/25/61/85 of NDPS Act registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Amritsar City.
Learned counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer to the extent that direction may be issued to the trial Court to conclude the trial at the earliest.
Learned State counsel after seeking instructions from ASI Vijay Kumar states that the present case is fixed before the trial Court for prosecution evidence.
In view of above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to trial Court to conclude the trial preferably within a period of 10 months from today.
