On the last date of hearing i.e. 18.05.2012, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had sought permission to withdraw the present petition as the petitioner had already been released on bail granted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaithal. The present petition is for bail. Therefore, the State counsel was directed to have instructions as to how the petitioner had been released on bail and how the petitioner had maintained two separate applications one before this Court and other before the trial Court for bail.
Today, State counsel, on instructions, submits that the petitioner has been released on bail as per provisions of Section 167 (2) Cr.P.C.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
