This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing FIR No.39 dated 19.03.2012 under Sections 363A/366/120-B of the Indian Penal Code registered at Police Station Bhawanigarh, District Sangrur, on the basis of compromise, along with all subsequent proceedings arising from that FIR.
The allegation in the FIR is that Manpreet Kaurrespondent No.3 was taken away by Gurpreet Singh-petitioner No.4 along with others. The parties have arrived at a compromise

in which it is mentioned that Manpreet Kaur has voluntarily accompanied Gurpreet Singh and nobody is at fault. Statements of Satnam Singh and Manpreet Kaur have been recorded to this effect.
Report from the trial Court has also been received in which it is mentioned that parties have arrived at a compromise. So, in view of the above circumstances and in view of authority reported as, “ Kulwinder Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others” 2007 (3) RCR (Criminal) 1052, the above said FIR stands quashed. Further proceedings in pursuant to that FIR also stands quashed.
