Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Naunihal Singh, Police Station Sadar Jalandhar, submits that in compliance of the order dated 17.04.2012 passed by this Court, age of petitioner No.2 was got verified and she has been found to be major, her date of birth being 07.04.1991.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the threat perception is no more subsisting. He further submits that the private respondents have suffered their statements before the police not to interfere in the married life of the petitioners, rendering the present petition as infructuous. Thus, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petition may be ordered to be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
In view of the above statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is ordered to be disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.
