Respondent No2 has filed an affidavit to the effect that payment of the medical bills has been made to the petitioner vide receipt Annexure R-1.
Mr.G.S.Cheema, learned Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab has placed on record photocopies of the receipts whereby payment of medical bills w.e.f. August to November, 2011 has also been made.
In this view of the matter, instead of keeping these proceedings pending, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this contempt petition with a clarificatory direction that the medical bills as and when submitted by the petitioner after November, 2011, shall also be verified and after verification the actual payment in relation thereto shall be made within a period of not more than three months.
The contempt petition stands disposed of.
