The dispute in the present case is regarding visiting rights being claimed by the appellant, father of minor Harmanpal Singh, who is in custody of his mother.
Today, the child, whose date of birth is 1.1.1994, was present in court in person.
Learned counsel for the appellant fairly stated that in case the child says that he is not willing to meet the appellant, he will not press for any relief in the present appeal.
The child was asked this question in court in the presence of counsels for the parties. He flatly refused to meet his father, i.e., the appellant.
In view of the aforesaid development, learned counsel for the appellant submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw the present appeal.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
