At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner intends to withdraw the petition to enable the petitioner to file fresh writ petition, challenging the provisions of The Punjab Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Ordinance, 2010 (Punjab Ordinance No. 9 of 2010), by virtue of which Section 19 of The Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 was omitted.
