Learned counsel for the petitioners has pointed out that a Departmental Selection Review Committee has been constituted to review the selection of Constables under 35% quota for the preceding year. The petitioners' entire claim is qua this grievance alone.
The communication which has been shown to this Court shows that the Committee has been constituted keeping in view various judgments which have been rendered by this Court.
This implies that the respondents are alive to the situation and are

conscious of the decision which needs to be implemented in their right spirit.
Having regard to the aforesaid, the instant petition is disposed of with an expectation from the Departmental Committee that it shall consider and decide the cases of the petitioners, as has been decided qua other persons who are similarly situated, as expeditiously, as possible.
