Suneet Goyat Vs State of Haryana & Ors.

The instant writ petition raises a challenge to the preliminary examination which was conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission for selection to the post of HCS (Executive).

Learned counsel appearing for respondents points out that the selection has already been made and appointment letters have also been issued. It has also been brought to the notice of this Court that the said selection is under challenge separately.

In view of the aforesaid, I am of the considered opinion that the instant petition which raises the challenge to the preliminary examination which is the initial process initiated for the purposes of selection, the instant petition has been rendered infructuous and the same is disposed of as such. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge the final selection which has been made.
