The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, for release of the detenues, 51 in number, as mentioned in para No. 2 thereof, from the unlawful custody of respondents No.5 and 6.
In pursuance of the order dated 13.12.2011, the Warrant Officer had visited the brick kiln and submitted his report dated 15.12.2011, wherein he stated that the petitioner has made a statement that he did not want to get the brick kiln raided.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the report of the Warrant Officer, he may be permitted to withdraw the
