This petition was filed by the petitioner for quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise. While issuing notice of motion, the Court had directed the parties to remain present. On 5.7.2011, the parties were directed to appear before the Trial Court on 24.9.2011 to record their statements in regard to compromise. The Trial Court report has been received. None of the parties has appeared before

the Trial Court to make statement. Apparently, the parties are wasting the time of this Court as well as of the Trial Court. In case, the parties were not to appear either before this Court or the Trial Court to make the statements, they should not have filed such petition for quashing the FIR on the basis of compromise.
Counsel appearing in this case prays for an adjournment, which request is declined.
In view of the position noted above, this petition is dismissed.
