This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 to 4 to ensure the security of life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.6 to 9 and their henchmen.
Learned counsel for respondents No.5 to 8, on instructions from respondent No.5, who is the father of petitioner No.1, states that he has no objection to the marriage of the petitioners and therefore, they need not feel threatened.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a

direction that in case, the petitioners still feel threatened at the hands of private respondents, they are at liberty to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, who shall look into their grievances and if found necessary, take appropriate measures, in accordance with law.
