The newly wed couple Heena Sharma and Manjot Singh have preferred this petition alleging that the marriage was against the wishes of the parents, they apprehend danger to their lives and that Police protection be provided to them.
Notice of motion.
Mr. Sudhir Nehra, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of State of Punjab.
Already application (Annexure P5) to the above said effect has been made by the petitioners to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala.
It is directed that the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, shall take action on the application (Annexure P5) in right earnest as warranted by the facts and circumstances.
Petition is disposed of accordingly.
