This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C read with Article 226 of the Constitution praying for quashing of FIR No.50 dated 18.08.2001 under Sections 120-B/420/467/468/471/406 IPC and Section 13(1)(C) read with Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act registered at Police Station Vigilance Bureau, Ferozepur and all consequential proceedings pending in the Court of Special Judge, Muktsar on the basis of impugned FIR.
Learned counsel for the respondent has pointed out that the

charges have been framed and almost 11 witnesses have been examined.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to raise all these points before the trial Court.
