Petitioner is alleged to have caused an injury to Gurpreet Singh with a Barchi in his abdomen.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been in custody w.e.f., 26.07.2010.
State counsel, on the other hand, informs that all the prosecution witnesses except for one stand examined and next date of hearing before the trial Court is 25.11.2011.
Taking into consideration the weapon used and seat of injury and simultaneously considering the status of the trial, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition with a direction that the trial will be concluded within a period of two months after 25.11.2011. In case, for any reason trial is not concluded within the said period, the trial Court will release the petitioner on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to its satisfaction.
