This petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case F.I.R. No.90 dated 01.06.2010 registered under Sections 148, 307, 149 IPC at Police Station Sadar District Hoshiarpur.
On 21.07.2011 the following contention was noticed:-
“This is an application for regular bail. Learned counsel states that the petitioner has been in custody for one year for an offence under Section 307 IPC. “
On instructions from ASI Naresh Kumar learned Assistant Advocate General has accepted these factual assertions.
In the circumstances, without going into the merit of the case, I deem it appropriate to release the petitioner on regular bail to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
Ordered accordingly.
