This order shall dispose of Crl. Misc No. M 19258 and 22128 of 2011, as both these petitions arise from the same FIR.

The petitioners seek grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.44, dated 25.5.2011, registered under Sections 324, 323, 326, 341, 506, 148, 149 of the IPC, at Police Station Sadar Shahed Bhagat Singh Nagar (Nawan Shehar).

Learned counsel for the petitioners have relied upon the order dated 19.7.2011, passed by this Court in Crl. Misc No. M 19122 of 2011 whereby similarly situated co-accused was granted the concession of anticipatory bail.

No doubt, in this case various injuries have been inflicted upon the victim but on instructions from ASI Mohinder Singh, counsel for the respondent has informed the Court that five persons were arrested. It is also not disputed that petitioner No.1-Gurdeep Singh in Crl. Misc No. M 19258 of 2011, is a juvenile. As regards petitioners-Bhupinder Singh @ Bhinder Singh and Gurcharan Singh @ Sunder, allegations against them are

in general terms. In these circumstances, I deem it appropriate to grant the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Consequently, the petitioners are directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 20.8.2011 and in the event of their arrest, the petitioners shall be released on anticipatory bail by the Investigating Officer to his satisfaction subject to the conditions as laid down in Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
