This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed in case bearing FIR No. 59 dated 28.02.2011, under Sections 384, 506 IPC registered at Police Station City Ferozepur, District Ferozepur.
Learned DAG, on instructions from ASI Baldev Singh, has accepted that a compromise has taken place though he states that the petition for quashing of FIR was withdrawn. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the said petition was withdrawn to raise all available pleas before the trial Court.
Be that as it may, once the matter has been compromised, custodial interrogation of the petitioner would not be required.
In this view of the matter, I deem it appropriate to grant the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner appear before the investigating officer on 18.08.2011 between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. The investigating officer shall release him on bail to his satisfaction, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
Petition stands disposed of.
