Certified copy of order dated 1.4.2011 passed by the Court below produced in Court, is taken on record.
The prayer in the present petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner on the ground that after framing of charge, trial is not proceeding. However, considering the facts stated by the learned Court below in the order passed rejecting the bail of the petitioner, I do not find it to be a fit case for releasing the petitioner on bail pending trial.
The learned Court below noticed that there are numerous cases of fraud pending against the petitioner and other co-accused. It is gang where one of the co-accused Harmanjit Singh who was granted bail, has been declared proclaimed offender and this is one of the reasons on account of which trial is not proceeding.
Dismissed.
