By filing this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, petitioners seek quashing of First Information Report No.126 dated December 6th , 2010 under Sections 341 and 379 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code, Police Station Kalanaur, District Gurdaspur (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).
Learned State counsel assisted by Mr. Joginder Singh, Assistant Sub Inspector, has stated that the matter is being investigated.
In face of it, learned counsel for the petitioners has urged that this petition be dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file fresh one, if required.
It is ordered accordingly.
