Mr. Ajay Nara, Advocate present in the Court has been asked to accept notice on behalf of respondents.
Keeping in view the nature of relief claimed and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this petition is being disposed of at the motion stage itself.
The petitioner is presently working as Tracer in the respondentdepartment having been promoted as such vide order dated 14.9.1993. The short grievance of the petitioner is that he has not been paid the 1st A.C.P scale on completion of 10 years of continuous service w.e.f. 15.9.2003 nor he has been given the benefit of the revised pay scale on the basis of recommendations of the 6th Pay Commission. Petitioner made a representation (Annexure P-9) in this respect and also served a legal notice (Annexure P-11) but no decision has been taken thereon till date.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if, respondents are directed to take decision on the representation/legal notice served by the petitioner, referred to above.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.1 to take decision on the representation/legal notice served by the petitioner on the basis of the recommendations made by respondent no.2, within a period of three months from the date certified copy of this order is served upon the said respondent. Needless to say that in the event the claim of the petitioner is to be rejected, the same shall be by a reasoned and speaking order.
