The hearing of the writ petition is preponed to today. The only prayer made in the writ petition is for issuance of roll number. Now an application has been filed to say that the result be also declared. Accordingly, it would mean that the petitioner was issued roll number and has appeared in the examination. The main relief sought in the writ petition, thus, stands granted. The prayer for declaration of result, which is beyond the pleadings, cannot, thus, be considered in this case.
The writ petition is rendered infructuous and is accordingly disposed of.
