Amolak Singh @ Teetu, who is undergoing sentence of rigorous imprisonment for 12 years and is confined in Central Jail, Ludhiana, has filed this petition for setting aside the order dated 1.10.2009/ 8.10.2009 (Annexure P-2), whereby his prayer for grant of parole for four weeks on the ground of house repair has been declined. On the last two/ three dates, the case was adjourned on the request of learned counsel for the petitioner. Today, none is present on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the prayer made by the petitioner for grant of parole has become infructuous.
Dismissed for non-prosecution.
