The petitioner, who is a life convict and is undergoing sentence in Central Jail, Ambala, has filed this petition for issuing direction to the respondents to grant him house repair parole for four weeks.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that since the petitioner has not completed one year of imprisonment after his conviction, which is required under Rule 4 (1) of the Hayana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Rules, 2007 for considering the request of a convict for the grant of parole, therefore, he does not want to press this petition.
Dismissed as not pressed.
