The petitioner, who is a life convict and is undergoing sentence in Central Jail, Ambala, has filed this petition for issuing direction to respondent No.2 to extend the period of agriculture parole to six weeks, which was granted for 21 days.
After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain this petition, as in our opinion, if the petitioner wants to get extension of the period of parole, he should first approach the Divisional Commissioner, Ambala Range, Ambala (respondent No.2 herein), who has already granted him parole for 21 days.
Dismissed with the aforesaid liberty.
