This revision petition is directed against the judgment dated 02.04.2003, passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Fatehabad, dismissing the appeal of the petitioner-accused against the judgment dated 16/19.04.2002, passed by Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Fatehabad, convicting and sentencing him to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one month under Section 279 IPC and simple imprisonment for a period of eight months and to pay a fine of Rs.500/- under Section 304-A IPC.
Learned State counsel has informed this Court that the petitioner-accused has already been released on 15.11.2003 on expiry of the sentence already awarded to him. He has also placed on record affidavit of Superintendent, Central Jail, Hisar.
Even otherwise, on scrutiny of the impugned judgment, it transpires that the evidence led by the prosecution appears to have been appreciated in the right perspective. No such illegality much less irregularity or perversity was detected which may render the judgment as invalid. As such, these findings do not call for any interference at this revisional stage.
No grounds to interfere.
Dismissed.
