Prayer in the application is for interim bail to the petitioner for appearance in the 10+2 Examination. The written examinations are scheduled on 23rd , 27th October, 2nd , 10th and 19th November 2010. The practical examinations are scheduled on 20th and 22nd November 2010.
Notice in the application was issued.
Learned counsel for the State submitted that considering the seriousness of the offence, the petitioner should not be granted interim bail. However, he submitted that the petitioner can be taken in police custody in the examination centre to enable him to appear in the examination.
Considering the fair stand of the learned counsel for the State, it is directed that the petitioner shall be taken to the examination centre in police custody on the scheduled dates.
Petition stands disposed of.
A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned State counsel under the signatures of the Court Secretary.
