This is a petition under Section 438 read with Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code for grant of pre arrest bail and to give an advance notice before arresting the petitioners in case under Sections 406, 498-A and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code to be registered at the instance of respondent No.7.

Facts of the case are that petitioner No.1 is 75 years old grandmother (Nani) of the husband of respondent No.7. Petitioners no.2 and 3 are the maternal uncle (Mama) and maternal aunt (Mami) of respondent No.7 and the petitioner No.4 is the father-in-law of respondent No.7. The son of petitioner No.4, who was also residing in Philippines with his family, got married to respondent No.7 on 10.05.2007 at Kartarpur

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners have apprehension that a false case may be registered against them by respondent No.7 for an offence under Sections 406, 498-A and 120-B of Indian Penal Code.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar that in case, the petitioners are required to be arrested in a case under Sections 406, 498-A and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code on the basis of complaint made by respondent No.7-Rekha, they be given at least three days' time to avail their legal remedy.
