The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code invoking the inherent jurisdiction of this Court for issuance of direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect their life and personal liberty. They have already moved a representation dated 6.5.2010 (Annexure P/6) before respondent No.2 to provide necessary protection to them.
Notice of motion.
Mr. AS Brar, Sr, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the Advocate General, Punjab.
In case, the contentions raised by them, in the representation, are correct, respondent No. 2 to take necessary action on the representation (Annexure P/6) of the petitioners.
