Prayer made in the present petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 to check the respondents No.3 and 4 for harassment and torturing the petitioners wrongly and illegally and the petitioners may not be called in the police station without registering the case.

Reply by way of affidavit of Balbir Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Kartarpur, District Jalandhar Rural on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4 has been filed. It is submitted in para 1 of the preliminary submissions that Karamjit Singh @ Bobby son of Maghar Singh petitioner No.1 is an accused in case FIR No.50 dated 2.2.2010 under Sections 302/506/427/148/149 read with Section 120-B IPC and Section 25/54/59 Arms Act registered at Police Station Maqsudan District Jalandhar (Rural). Proclaimed offender on 6.3.2010. The police had conducted raids at the house of Maghar Singh since Karamjit Singh accused was residing with him. The petitioners are not required in the said case nor they were called in the Police Station.
