Prayer is under Section 438 Cr.PC for grant of anticipatory to the petitioner Major Singh in case FIR No.50 dated 18.2.2010 under Sections 427, 447, 148, 149, 506 Indian Penal Code registered with Police Station Barnala, District Barnala.
As per the allegations, the petitioner along with his coaccused came to the fields of the complainant Boota Singh armed with deadly weapons and sprayed insecticide with a view to destroy the crop

of the complainant.
Learned counsel submits that the complaint respect to the alleged occurrence of 20.9.2009 was submitted to the police after a delay of 16 days and the FIR was lodged on 18.2.2010. Even otherwise no injury has been caused to any person. It is further submitted that the petitioner in pursuance to the interim directions passed by this court has joined the investigation.
Learned State counsel on instructions from HC Major Singh has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.
In view of the above, interim protection/bail granted vide order dated 05th of May, 2010 is made absolute.
Petition stands disposed of.
