Writ petition filed by the petitioner was disposed of on 2.4.2008, directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of annual increment, leave benefits, medical leave and earned leave for the period during which the petitioner worked on ad hoc basis.
An affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent No. 2 in Court. It has been pointed out that arrears of pay amounting to Rs. 43028/has been paid to the petitioner after sanctioning earned leave, half pay leave, extra-ordinary leave, leave on medical grounds.
In view of the said fact I do not find any case is made out for continuation of the present contempt petition. Consequently, the present contempt petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. However, it shall be open to the petitioner to take recourse to the remedies available to him in accordance with law, if the petitioner has any other grievance.
