The Tribunal, however, awarded compensation of Rs.3,57,500/-, holding dependency to be Rs.29,784/- per annum and applying multiplier of 12, following judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in General Manager Kerala State Road Transport Corporation Trivandrum v. Sushma Thomas (Mrs.) and others , (1994) 2 SCC 176. Age of the deceased was 42.
