Keeping in view the relief claimed in the writ petition the same is being disposed of at this stage itself.

The petitioner is a trust and applied to start a polytechnic college under the name of Rajdhani Polytechnic College at Village Sheikhpura Manchuri, Tehsil Assandh, District Karnal on 16.12.2008. It is alleged that though the petitioner has completed all the requisite formalities but the respondents have not taken any decision so far. The petitioner has also not been informed regarding any deficiency. The short grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner having completed all the formalities and infrastructure having been created, the respondents have not issued letter of intent/approval enabling the petitioner to make admissions during the current academic year.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, if, the respondents are directed to take decision on the application of petitioner for issuance of letter of intent/approval.

In view of the above circumstances, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to place the matter before the competent authority for taking a decision on the application of the petitioner for establishing the educational institute in accordance with law. Let the decision be taken by the competent authority and communicated to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date certified copy of this order is served upon the competent authority.
