Application sent by Vinod Kumar by post to Hon'ble the Chief Justice of this Court has been registered as instant criminal writ petition. It has been alleged in the application that ASI Balaur Singh along with other police officials forcibly picked up petitioner's uncle Sham Lal on 5.10.2009 at 7.00 AM and took him away in jeep although there was stay of arrest of Sham Lal in the case which has been registered against the petitioner party by Surinder Kumar etc.
Affidavit of petitioner filed today in Court is taken on record. Notice was issued only regarding alleged illegal detention of
Sham Lal.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that Sham Lal was released on the same day i.e. on 5.10.2009.

In view of the aforesaid, no further action or order is required in the instant writ petition. The same is accordingly disposed of without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner or Sham Lal for any other appropriate remedy, in accordance with law.
