I have heard the counsels for the parties, besides perusing the record with due care and circumspection.
This petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2The Superintendent, Central Jail, Ludhiana to take Ghalla Singh-petitioner to the place of religious samagam at Gurudwara Nanaksar Jhoraran ( Raikot), Tehsil Jagraon, District Ludhiana on 26.03.2009 well before 9.00 AM and the moment the samagam is over, he be brought back and lodged in the jail on the same day.
A copy of this order be given dasti.
