Reply on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3 has been filed in the Court. The same is taken on record and a copy thereof has been given to the counsel for the petitioner.
Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Jagroop Singh, Police Station Guruharsahai, states that the prosecution evidence stands closed and the case is fixed for today i.e. 12.08.2009 for statement of the accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C.
Counsel for the petitioner in the light of the statement made by the counsel for the State does not press the present petition, however, states that the trial may be expedited.
Petition is disposed of with an observation that efforts may be made to complete the trial at the earliest as the FIR is dated 29.11.2001.
