The learned State counsel, under instructions from HC Sunil Kumar, informs that cancellation report in the matter had already been filed in the court of learned Illaqa Magistrate. In the light thereof, the learned counsel states that he would (on being notified) by the learned Illaqa Magistrate, file a protest petition.
In the light thereof, no further orders in this petition are required. Liberty is granted to the petitioner that he can be back to this Court, if he is not afforded hearing by the learned

Illaqa Magistrate at the time the cancellation report is taken on consideration.
In a similar matter, certain instructions had been issued by this Court, judicial side, on 31.07.2009 in Crl. Misc. No. M-13925 of 2005. The Registry shall ascertain whether those instructions are being complied with by the Judicial Officers in the States of Punjab, Haryana and U.T., Chandigarh. The report, on being obtained, shall be put up before this Court by the Registry.
Disposed of accordingly.
