The only prayer made in this petition is for grant of protection to the petitioners as they apprehend threat to their life having married against the wishes of respondents No. 5 to 7.
Learned counsel for the State of Punjab as well as State of Haryana have stated that in case any representation has been received from the petitioners, the same shall be looked into and appropriate steps will be taken in the facts and circumstances of the case.
In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the States, this petition has been rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such.
