In this revision petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner-landlady seeks a direction to the Rent Controller, Chandigarh, for early disposal of the eviction petition No.275 of 2008 filed by her against the respondent-tenant on the ground of personal necessity.
Though it is difficult to issue any time bound direction as there might be other eviction petitions filed at an earlier point of time and still pending consideration before the Rent Controller, however, like any other litigant, the petitioner is also entitled to the speedy disposal of her

This revision petition is accordingly disposed of with a direction to the Rent Controller, Chandigarh, to make an endevour to decide the afore-stated eviction petition filed by the petitioner as early as possible and preferably within one year.
