Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the main relief claimed in the revision petition has been rendered infructuous as respondent No. 2 has already milled the paddy for the current season. However, the learned court below in the impugned order, while observing that the District Food and Supplies Controller, Patiala as well as Sangrur have violated the policy of the State Government, directed the Secretary, Department of Food and Supplies, Punjab to look into the matter and take action against the erring officials. He submits that considering the aforesaid facts, he may be permitted to withdraw the present revision petition to enable him to pursue the matter with the Secretary, Department of Food and Supplies, Punjab so that the policy framed by the Government is not violated in future.
Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
