Petitioners have brought this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of Complaint No. 19 dated 14.11.2005 titled as “Karamjit Singh versus Bikramjit Singh alias Bittu and others” under sections 452, 324, 323, 427, 148, 149 IPC, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Dhuri, District Sangrur and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.
The complaint case was filed by respondent no. 2 Karamjit Singh complainant who is present in the Court with Sh. Jasbir Rattan, Advocate. Now the parties have settled the dispute amicably with the intervention of the respectables and common relations. In this regard, compromise deed Annexure P/2 is also placed on the file.

In the given facts and circumstances, this Court feels that no useful purpose would be served if the proceedings in the case in hand are allowed to continue.
In the result, this petition succeeds and consequently, Complaint No. 19 dated 14.11.2005 titled as “Karamjit Singh versus Bikramjit Singh alias Bittu and others” under sections 452, 324, 323, 427, 148, 149 IPC, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Dhuri, District Sangrur and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are hereby ordered to be quashed.
