Copies of the writ petition have been supplied to the learned counsel for the respondents.

The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to the PUDA to restore the allotment of plot measuring 500 square yards in Urban Estate, SAS Nagar, Mohali. Further direction have been sought to hand over physical vacant possession of the said plot to the petitioner at the earliest and to charge the price of the plot in question from the petitioner in equated yearly instalments at the rates prevailing at the time of original allotment i.e. as per the original letter of allotment.

From the perusal of the record, we find that the petitioner has already filed a representation dated April 10,2006 (Annexure P.15) and even a reminder dated July 6, 2006 (Annexure P.16) which remain unresponded so far.

In this view of the matter, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the Estate Officer, PUDA, SAS Nagar, Mohali, respondent No.3 to take a final decision on the aforesaid representation (Annexure P.15) within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order.

A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
